The Truth Hurts, But Lies Kill

Introduction

After I started writing this book, I realized I needed an introduction so you would understand the reason I am writing this, as well as why this book differs from the others I have written. Everything I have ever written did not flow like this subject. I have found nothing so easy to write about.

First, the reason for this book is that it might be my last chance to reach out to those who are being lied to about such matters as their eternal destiny. I spent over 40 years of my life in a danger zone, and if I had died, I would have been in hell. But all that changed, and I express this in this writing. I turned 87a few months ago, so I don’t think I will be around much longer, but that is okay, I am ready for my home calling.

My life has had some reason changes, which makes this book different from others that I have written because of the way I am writing it and publishing it. I used audio to write and proofread other books. I would write and then have the computer read it back to me to check for spelling and grammar errors, but I can not do this with this book because I lost all my hearing. Yes, I’m deaf. Please do not feel sorry for me; in a way, this has been a blessing. If you find a mistake, please accept my apologies.

Now with publishing, in the past I published on Amazon and Google Books. This time around I am publishing only on Google Books. You will know why after reading this book. I have added one more format to this book. I will use the Flipbook format and will promote it on social media as well.

One more thing you should know is that there will be no cost for this book. I do not plan to sell it. Because I handle all the writing, proofreading, and publishing, I can do this. I am doing this because of the importance of getting this to you in digital format. I would like to have it in print, but then there would be a cost involved. As I remember, Google Books made me put a price on my books, but I made it as low as I could go. You will find the flipbook for free.

Alright, let’s get started now that you understand the reason for the introduction to this book.

We need to be careful.

Sometimes we say things we shouldn’t say. We do it without thinking about how it comes across to others.

So what I am about to tell you in writing may be a good thing. Doing it this way will give me time to think about what I am saying in writing. I can practice what I preach.

I have been recording videos and audios for some time now, but things are changing. For 15-plus years I have been making podcasts and audiobooks on YouTube and other platforms, but I am afraid that is going to an end. I am being forced to write and not to record. My body is changing with age. After losing my hearing, it makes it hard to do some things. I cannot play or listen to audio. It is hard to record while reading when you can not hear yourself talk. And when you have pain in your ear every time you talk, it makes you not want to read out-loud or say anything. It is painful to do it, and painful not to do it. Everyone has something to say. That’s why I am always asking for comments. I know people like to have a say in things.

I find I still have much to say, so it is necessary that I write and not speak. Just a short time ago I started making flipbooks from old writing, so I thought, why not write and make them for myself.

The first thing I need to get out of the way is, I am not doing this to make money. My money-making days are long past. The old saying, you can’t take it with you, and I am getting ready to leave any day now.

Writing is not new to me. I wrote a few books some years ago and published them on Amazon and Google Books. I stopped writing because something happened. You might find this interesting, because this might happen to you if you write and publish on Amazon. I thought I would share it with you before diving into the subject of this book.

After having some books on Amazon and Google Books for a few years, I was receiving royalty checks from both companies every month. I had published no books for about two years when I got an email from Amazon stating that I violated one of their policies. I replied and asked what policies and when I had violated it? They never told me what or when; they just took my complete account down and deleted all my books from sale. I tried many times to contact them but never got a reply. This told me that the one person who did this controlled my account. If one person can do this, it is called censorship. The only thing I can see that happened was someone hacking into my account and breaking the rules. I was a victim, not a rule breaker.

It was not only my loss of royalties but also Amazon’s loss of sales. We both lost money. I am just thankful everything is on Google Books as well. I still get paid by them.

Getting back to the subject of being careful with words, and what we say. My plan in writing again is to bring to light all the lies that are abroad in our world today and to shine on the truths that need to be brought out. There is a saying that says, sometimes the truth hurts. The truth needs to be told in love to take away the pain. The truth hurts, but lies kill.

Religion

This has always been a touchy subject. When it comes to religion matters, one needs to define the word religion. When looking up the meaning, I found this:

“What is the meaning of religion?

Religion | Definition, Types, Beliefs, Symbols, Examples …

religion, human beings’ relation to that which they regard as holy, sacred, absolute, spiritual, divine, or worthy of especial reverence. It is also commonly regarded as consisting of the way people deal with ultimate concerns about their lives and their fate after death.

This is the typical meaning, but I hold to a different meaning. Let me explain.

When we say someone is religious, we tend to follow the above meaning, but the key to the meaning is “human being.” In a sense, all religions are man-made. I divide all religions into two classes. This makes it simple to understand. And we break them down into two words. “DO” and “DONE.” The two religions are True Christianity, and then all the rest. Even breaking them down into belief and unbelief seems faulty.

Let’s look at the two words. Taking the first word, DO. All religions say that you have to DO something to be accepted by God or a god. True Christianity does not say that. Notice I am using the word “True” before the word Christianity. The reason for doing this is to show that there are many religions called Christianity that are not.

Remember the old saying: if you stand in a garage, it doesn’t make you a car, as going to a church does not make you a Christian. The way I am using the word church here is wrong. Maybe I will explain this later. All who say they are Christians are not. So I use the term “True Christianity.” Looking at this, we have the word DONE. True Christianity is DONE. Christ said, it is finished. He finished everything when He completed the work on the cross. There are so many religions that say it is Christ plus blank; you fill in the blank. You can add in your works, obeying the law and anything else you want. This is not true Christianity.

Man says that Christianity is based on the Bible, then he adds things that are not in the Bible or contrary to it. They base doctrine on false concepts and lies. This is where the truth hurts, but if you keep believing all the lies, it will bring death. Yes, spiritual death. Death is separation. Physical death is the separation of the spirit from the body. Spiritual death is the separation of the soul (who we are) from God. And last, eternal spiritual death is separation from God forever, and that is HELL. This is a solemn thing to think about.

Let me just mention the word church here. We use it wrong when we say we are going to church today, when the fact is, we can not go to church because the church is not a place but a unit made up of people, true Christians. If you belong to Christ, then you are part of the church.The church comprises living stones.

Nothing I have said so far means anything without some backing. Some proof. Seeing we have been talking about Christianity, which is to be based on scripture, let us look at some.

We will start with the last statement I mentioned about the church.

1 Peter 2:4-7

King James Version

4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,

5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.

7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,

Ephesians 2:19-22

King James Version

19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:

22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

The Work is finished.

I use a website often. Gotquestion.org. Here is a quote from their webpage.

“Of the last sayings of Christ on the cross, none is more important or more poignant than, “It is finished.” Found only in the Gospel of John, the Greek word translated “it is finished” is tetelestai, an accounting term that means “paid in full.” When Jesus uttered those words, He was declaring the debt owed to His Father was wiped away completely and forever. Not that Jesus wiped away any debt that He owed to the Father; rather, Jesus eliminated the debt owed by mankind—the debt of sin.”

Wow! That says it all. So how can any work of ours help to pay a debt? Can’t we pay for something that someone has already paid for? This is where our faith comes in. We need to believe what the Word of God says about this. Here are a few verses:

John 17:4, I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.

Luke 19:10, For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

Romans 3:23, For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

The last scripture here is short and to the point: Everyone sins. Everyone has sinned. There is no one who does not sin (Romans 3:10). This further emphasizes the point Paul drew from Old Testament Scriptures earlier in this chapter. There is no escaping this label. Paul does not offer any category besides “sinner,” and everyone falls into it. The previous verse emphasized that there is “no distinction.” The most moral of humans—relatively speaking—and the most perverse of humans are all in the same container: “sinner.”

This all boils down to this: if a religion is teaching you need to do something; make some effort to appease God to will your salvation, then they are teaching a lie. And a lie that will lead you into a horrible place. I know that if you have been believing this, then this hurts, but if you don’t stop, it will lead to spiritual death.

I like to say I’m not religious

The Broad and Narrow Paths

Not sure this is correct, but when I say it, I mean I am not following any teaching for all the religions of the world. I just follow Christ and his teaching from the Bible. And I don’t look at this as being religious. Paul said, “Follow me as I follow Christ.” I say the same thing. Do not follow the crowd. Listen to this:

13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Matthew 7:12-14 KJV.

Looking back at my life, for 40-years I followed the crowds. I was on the broad path, thinking that the masses were right, so I just followed along. But one day I heard the truth that I had to get on the narrow path. Yes, it hurt to find out the truth, and I knew I had to stop believing the lie. This saved me from spiritual death.

What is the biggest lie and who is telling it?

This lie is being told to 1.4 billion people, so that means that there are many people heading to hell because of this. I put little trust in Wikipedia, the free Encyclopedia but I use it to get some data. The reason I put little trust in it, I have put things on it and have edited things. This means that anyone can do this, and we are mortals that lie, and we do. By the way, we are talking about the broad road here. Billions of people are walking this way.

I am not just picking on one religion here; there are many more going the wrong way, so this number is much larger. I am a math guy, and like to play with numbers. We could add to the above number 629 million–1.03 billion. So now we have over 2-billion. It is getting a little crowded on this road.

You see why I am writing to tell you about all the lies we put our trust in. With everything we have at our disposal, we can do our own research. Don’t just take someone’s word about something; do your own investigation. Get out of the DO religion and get into the DONE one.

Now there are a lot of religions that base their beliefs on the Bible, but that does not make them right if they add to or take away from it. And that is what many of them are doing. Or they take it totally out of context. Let me give you a prime example of this. This really happened to me.

I live in a small town with a few different churches. One pastor from the church next door to our chapel wanted to get someone from every church to meet and share their beliefs. (Sounds good, right? Bring unity.) Not so. I tried it. I shared what our fellowship believed in, as did others. It was down to the last person, who was a theologian from the Catholic Church. He talked about their belief in the Eucharist. Here is the scripture he used to back up his doctrine.

John 6:52-58: The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat? Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. 58This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.

This all sounds good to back up his claims that the Eucharist was the body and blood of Christ. But he was basing this belief on scripture taken out of context. I asked him to read the rest of the passage, but he wouldn’t. The pastor who was leading the discussion said, we are not here to debate but to tell our beliefs. You can’t have unity based on a lie. If he had read on, this is what it said:

Jesus went on to say in verses 61-64: Doth this offend you? What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. But there are some of you that believe not.

I believe Jesus, not this theologian. He sat across from me with a smirk on his face and this big silver cross hanging around his neck, as if to say, I am the scholar here with authority. I wasn’t giving him my opinion, but I was basing it on Christ’s own words. God can not lie, but that Catholic theologian sure could, and did lie. No one would let me bring out the truth.

When I say, I believe all Catholics are believing a lie; I include myself in this, because I believed this lie for over 40 years. Yes, it hurt me to know that someone had deceived me for so many years, but I am so glad I found out the truth before it was too late.

Now this was not the only lie I was being told, and the list is long of all the lies. It doesn’t take long to cover one lie with another.

Everything I tell you here I back up with scripture; the Bible. And it tells us that God cannot lie. So I ask you the question: are you going to believe what God says or man?

Was Peter the First Pope?

Catholics believe Peter was the first Pope, that someone gave him the keys to the Kingdom, that the church was built on him, and that he was NOT married. Let’s see what Scripture has to say about that.

First, Peter’s confession was: Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Christ says:

Matthew 16:17-19: Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Let us look close at this scripture. Look first, and what it does not say. The Lord never said to Peter, you are the Rock. He just said, you are Peter. Based on Peter’s confession, the Rock that the Lord refers to is (Himself) Christ, the Son of the living God. Christ is the Rock, not Peter. All one needs to do is look into the Greek, and if you do not know Greek, you sure can do your research online and find the truth. Don’t believe this lie.

Next, I again take a quote from gotquestion.org. “The Roman Catholic Church also holds that Peter and subsequent popes were and are infallible when speaking ex cathedra, that is, when making formal pronouncements from their position and authority as pope. This supposed infallibility gives the pope the ability to guide the church without error. The Roman Catholic Church claims that it can trace an unbroken line of popes back to St. Peter and cites this as evidence that it is the true church. . .The elaborate hierarchy found in today’s Roman Catholic Church simply isn’t found in Scripture. There is no hint of a pope in the Bible. One reason that Peter was not the first pope is that there was no such thing as a pope. Men had not yet invented the papacy.” There is a lot to say on this matter. Read it for yourself. https://www.gotquestions.org/Peter-first-pope.html

Was Peter married? One simple verse in Matthew 8:14 proves that he was, even though the Catholic Church teaches he was never married. Because of this, the infallibility thing goes out the window.

And when Jesus was come into Peter’s house, he saw his wife’s mother laid, and sick of a fever.

You can’t have a wife and a mother-in-law if you are not married.

Did you know lies salted with truth are like poison?

Here is a list of doctrines that are true, but the Catholic Church salts them with lies, and they call them traditions.

Core doctrines

  1. The Trinity: God exists as one being in three co-equal and co-eternal persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. (This one is very solid and a good teaching.)
  2. Jesus Christ: Jesus is the Son of God, who came to earth to save humanity through his death and resurrection. (True, but they add works to the fact that Christ saves.)
  3. Original Sin: All humans inherit a sinful nature from the first sin of Adam and Eve, making them incapable of achieving salvation without God’s grace. (Again, this one is solid and true.)
  4. Salvation: Salvation is a gift from God, made possible through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, and received through faith and participation in the Church and its sacraments. (The Gospel; the good news is Death, Burial, and Resurrection. This saves us, and this alone.)
  5. The Church: The Church was founded by Christ, is one, holy, catholic, and apostolic, and serves as the community of faith where grace is mediated. ( The specific word “Catholic” is not found in the English Bible, but the Greek word for universal (katholikos) appears in the original Greek text of the New Testament. For example, Acts 9:31 includes it in the original Greek, but translators render it as “throughout” or exclude it in English. Verses that emphasize a single body of believers support the concept of a “catholic” or universal church, such as 1 Corinthians 12:12. In the original Greek text. The original Greek manuscripts of Acts 9:31 include the Greek word καθολικός (katholikos), which means “universal.” Translations often render this as “the church throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria” or simply as “the church”. The Catholics are not the true church in the sense that all true Christians make up the universal or Catholic Church. You don’t just join the church; you are born into it. Born again into it by the quickening of the Holy Spirit.)
  6. The Sacraments: There are seven sacraments, which are visible signs instituted by Christ that convey God’s grace. These include Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Penance, Anointing of the Sick, Holy Orders, and Matrimony. (Every one of the Sacraments are man made. Some are taught in the Bible, but they are not called Sacraments. There are two ordinances, and they are Baptism and the Lord’s Table.)
  7. Mary: Mary, the mother of Jesus, holds a special place as the Mother of God. (False! I will talk about this at the end of the list of core Doctrine).
  8. Afterlife: Catholics believe in the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come, which includes the concept of Purgatory as a state of purification after death. (First, when God created us He made us in His image, which means we are eternal beings, and we will exist forever. We will spend eternity in either Heaven or Hell. The mention of Purgatory is not found in the Bible. I believe they come up with this from the story of the richman and Lazarus. Before Christ’s resurrection there was a place where departed souls went until Christ the first resurrection. When he returned to Heaven he took with him all the souls on the good side of Hades, and this included the thief on the cross. I will have to say, I’m not sure if the others remained or not. In either case, the teaching on Purgatory is wrong.

Let us at this point take a closer look at the belief that Mary was special and was the Mother of God. In this statement, we are playing with words. First, Jesus was God, just like the Father and the Holy Spirit, but the sense that Mary was the Mother of God looks all wrong. Yes, she was blessed above other women in that she gave birth to an earthly man named Jesus. This only applies to the humanity of Jesus. Jesus was fully man, yet fully God. None of us can truly comprehend this. Only God can do this. Mary was Jesus’ earthly mother and nothing more.

There is a teaching that she was co-redemptive with Christ. This is also not true. Speaking of Christ, the scriptures tell us:

“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:12

This verse includes Mary. She falls under phase, no other name. You can easily find all these simple truths in the Bible. So why do people choose to believe all these lies? The Scripture tells us this as well.

2 Corinthians 4:3-4: “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”

I found this quote on the internet. “This spiritual blindness is a deliberate obstacle created by Satan to prevent people from understanding spiritual truths and accepting Christianity, which can keep them from seeing the truth about salvation.”

What I am about to say might be hard to accept, but Satan is not only the god of this world, but his power is the underline means of religion.

In studying the parables in Matthew 13, we find birds as representing Satan. We see this in the first parable about the sower. With the first seed it says, “and when he sowed, some seeds fell by the wayside, and the fowls came and devoured them up.” Later on, the Lord explains this as thus:

 “When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.”

The reason I mention this is the parable of the Mustard Seed. It is a short parable so I am quoting it here.

“Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.”

Take notice of the abnormal growth. It was never to be a tree where the birds lodge in its branches. One of the largest religions has an evil one in its branches. It is a counterfeit of true Christianity. Knowing Satan is the father of lies, we know where all the lies are coming from.

If you are blind to these truths, you should be on your knees and ask God to open your eyes to all these lies.

In the parable of the Wheat and Tares, we have the sower of good seed, and while men slept, we see the enemy sowing the tares. The enemy being Satan. We are told to just let both the wheat and tares grow together. God will do the weeding at the end of the age.

I have to make one point clear. These parables are talking about the Kingdom and not the church, but the church is part of the Kingdom. We need to keep this in mind when studying the parables.

How it all started

In the beginning we are told that Satan was cast out of heaven because of his prideful rebellion against God, which led him to want to exalt himself and usurp divine authority. This rebellion, which also involved a third of the other angels, resulted in a war in heaven led by Michael the Archangel. The rebels were defeated and thrown out of heaven onto the earth. We read this in Revelation 12:7-12:

And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, and prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

First, take notice I underlined the fact that he deceives the entire world. This is what he is still doing. The only cure for this is in the power of Christ. Satan is constantly lying and accusing us before God. And he is doing this day and night. He never stopped. But this is going to end shortly when Christ returns.

We also find in Ezekiel 28:13-19 this account of the fall:

Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.

Again, I underlined the fact that he was a created being, and God was his creator. God knew he would rebel even before he was created. Everything is according to God’s plan. We see it unfolding before our eyes.

What we just read is the groundwork for what took place in the Garden of Eden. Looking back to what took place in the very beginning of our world and the great lie of our day — that the earth is billions of years old. This is not what God tells us.Let us look at the belief of OLD earth and NEW earth.

God created a mature tree with many rings, which made it seem older than when He created it. This holds true for everything else He created. Science can not prove the age of the Earth. Man has tried to use carbon dating. This also can not be done. I had a scientist tell me carbon dating is not accurate until it is thousands of years old. What they are saying is this rock is this old because it is this hard, and it is this hard because it is this old. They are running around in a circle.

From all accounts of scripture, my belief is we are in the year of man, which is six-thousand years old. When we go into the seven-thousandth year, we will go into the year of the Lord. Then there will be a thousand-year reign of Christ on Earth, then what happens in second Peter 3:12-13:

Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Also in Revelation 21:1-8:

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

When Satan deceived Adam and Eve, the great deception started and is still going on today. Deceive yourselves and believe all the lies that are in the world today. It is no different today than it was back in the beginning. Remember the devil is the father of lies. He lied then, and he is lying now.

With all that I have told you so far, don’t you think it is time to give your life to the Lord, and start following Jesus? Think about who he is. He is Lord of lords, and King of kings. He is the great “I AM.” He is God in the flesh. He is ALL in ALL. When he came on the scene, we beheld the Glory, the Glory of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. Yes, not only graceful but full of truth.

I will end with the words to the hymn: I have decided to follow Jesus

Author (attributed to): Simon Marak

I have decided to follow Jesus;

I have decided to follow Jesus;

I have decided to follow Jesus;

No turning back; no turning back.

If no one joins me, still I will follow;

If no one joins me, still I will follow;

If no one joins me, still I will follow;

No turning back; no turning back.
