READ THIS and DO What GOD COMMANDS US TO DO. One of the Most Important Messages in Life. 70 Second Reading.
True forgiveness isn’t cheap. Imagine that someone borrows $1,000 from you. They promise to pay back $100 every month, but then you never see a check. They just don’t have any money to pay.
Then God pricks your heart and challenges you to forgive that debt. He’s given you so much that you want to bless this other person. When you erase the debt, you’re the one who has absorbed the $1,000 loss. Forgiveness is Costly!
READ ON> The same thing is true when someone hurts us. Forgiveness isn’t cheap then, either.
But God has called us to forgive others, JUST LIKE He’s forgiven YOU & I. (Ouch). Yes, We MUST Forgive.
Yes even that Horrible Evil Done to You.
Forgiving that Evil Person Does Not Mean that they Get Away with what They Did OR that what they did was or is OK.
Forgiveness Simply Means that YOU are Releasing them from the Prison of Your Heart where You Play God and Punish them with a Life of BITTERNESS, ANGER, HATRED, RESENTMENT and REVENGE.
You Trust God’s Promises that HE WILL AVENGE ALL WRONG DOING if that Person Does Not Repent of their sin. And You are Willing to PRAY for Your Enemies and Those Who HURT YOU.
Jesus was willing to pay for our sin. IT COST HIM EVERYTHING!
We OWED a HOLY LORD GOD a DEBT that We Could NEVER Pay for the Penalty, Price for Sinning Against HIM. The GOOD News is God FORGIVES YOUR Sin and MY Sin.
SO, Is there someone who owes you big-time? Would you say, “Lord, because of all You’ve done for me, I’m willing to pay the price; I’m willing to absorb the debt; I’m willing to forgive”?
You See as a Christian, You Have the POWER to CHOOSE to FORGIVE, DO IT NOW, it’s a CHOICE, NOT a Process that Lasts.
Matthew 6:15 “
But if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses”
Ephesians 4:32 “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”
Luke 6:27 ““But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,”
AGAIN:
Matthew 6:14-15, “For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
CHOOSE TODAY, NOW TO FORGIVE – YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.
